- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish and layer sliced bananas evenly.
- In a bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Stir in melted butter and vanilla until crumbly.
- Spread topping evenly over bananas.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce and serve warm.
- Top with vanilla ice cream if desired.
Notes
Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. For extra flavor, drizzle caramel sauce on top before serving. Use very ripe bananas for the sweetest and richest taste. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat before serving.
