- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line or grease a muffin tin.
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, milk, and vanilla. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet. Mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips or blueberries.
- Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool slightly and enjoy warm or room temperature!
Notes
You can substitute buttermilk for milk for extra tenderness.
Want variety? Try mixing both chocolate chips and blueberries in a single batch.
